Immigrant Rights Fund - Sustained Response Grant

The Immigrant Rights Fund will support both the immediate and long-term needs of immigrants in our borough and across New York City, while strengthening collaboration among immigrant-serving nonprofits.

The Sustained Response Grant offers support to long-term challenges, including increased threats of deportations that would separate parents and children, as well as continued funding for advocacy and organizing. Funding supports ongoing legal consultations, coalition building and community organizing, mental and physical health services, political education, workforce development efforts, and community safety for immigrant communities across Brooklyn.

Grants range from $10,000 to $25,000.

Grants will be offered on a quarterly basis for immigrant-led and immigrant-serving efforts. To request funds, please fill out the following Immigrant Rights - Sustained Response Request Form.

Requests for funding must be received by:
  • MARCH 15
  • MAY 15
  • AUGUST 30
  • OCTOBER 15

You will receive a response for a phone conversation with a member of our Programs team if the request is aligned with the funding criteria and priority considerations. No follow up emails or phone calls, please.
