Frankie Morris-Perez Memorial Scholarship Fund

Our affectionate, gentle, loving, brilliant, sweet Frankie took her life at age 17.

Frankie had a truly remarkable ability to connect with anyone, and everyone--an intoxicating raw, emotional connectedness that drew everyone in. How can someone who can connect to so many hearts and souls still feel so deeply alone? Perhaps that connection came from a yearning to heal - as she sought desperately to understand herself and her illness.  Perhaps that connection led her to live in the minds of so many others that ultimately overwhelmed her young, sensitive brain. Perhaps that connection was Frankie’s extraordinary light, pushing through and transcending even her devastating illness.

Without answers, we honor that miraculous quality of “Frankie-ness” with a scholarship in her name.  Frankie often spoke of wanting to study Psychology to understand, and Theatre to heal. We hope another scientist/artist with similar aspirations can continue this brave work in Frankie’s honor.

Please donate whatever you can in honor of Frankie, as we set up a fund for a graduating Beacon School senior interested in combining the study of Psychology and Theater.

Please help us keep Frankie’s essence alive.

Application is open through Thursday, April 14, 2023 at 8:00pm ET
