We're Half-Way to Our Goal for Asylum Seekers

Since we launched our Welcome NYC fundraising campaign last month, we've raised over $22,000 towards our $50,000 goal to support the newest New Yorkers!

All donations to our Immigrant Rights Fund now through April 30th will further five community-led organizations’ ability to support new asylum seekers while providing essential programs and services to Brooklyn’s immigrant communities each and every day:

  • Caribbean Women’s Health Association
  • Haitian Women for Haitian Refugees
  • Mexican Coalition
  • NY Immigration Coalition
  • Queer Detainee Empowerment Project

Your generous support will help provide a lifeline to asylum seekers.

This new funding is in addition to over $500,000 committed this year through our Immigrant Rights Fund. It's a critical and timely investment for Brooklyn, which is already home to nearly one million foreign-born residents.

We hope you will join us and give today.
