We know Brooklynites are experts on their communities and the issues they face, which is why we are thrilled to invite our neighbors to be part of Brooklyn Community Foundation’s grantmaking advisory councils to help decide where millions of dollars for nonprofits are distributed across Brooklyn each year!

We are currently recruiting for advisory councils focused on older adults and workforce development. You’ll gain new skills, build professional networks, get a deeper understanding of Brooklyn nonprofits, and get paid for it ($20/hour). Members are requested to commitment approximately 15 hours over a 4-8 week period, per grantmaking cycle.
