How Donor Advised Funds Make Year-End Giving Easier for Families and Businesses Alike

November is the time to focus on planning your year-end giving, and establishing a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) at Brooklyn Community Foundation may be the right choice for you. 

You can open a DAF in less than a day with an initial contribution of $10,000 or more, and you'll receive an immediate tax deduction. DAFs also give you the time to thoroughly consider what organizations you want to support and at what level, at your own pace. 

Our Donor Services team handles all of the administration of grants from your fund and provides guidance on giving to local nonprofits, making DAFs a smart, simple, and highly effective tool for Brooklyn donors.
