#BrooklynGives this Giving Tuesday!
Set a Reminder to Give:
Tuesday, November 28th at BrooklynGives.org
Brooklyn is out to prove that it’s New York City’s most generous borough this holiday season with #BrooklynGives on Giving Tuesday, a 24-hour giving day that aims to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for local nonprofits.
With less than 5% of philanthropic dollars in NYC reaching Brooklyn nonprofits, we are encouraging all Brooklyn residents to give where they live this Giving Tuesday and learn about often overlooked local organizations at www.BrooklynGives.org.
#BrooklynGives is presented in partnership with the Office of the Brooklyn Borough President and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, and sponsored by TD Bank with support from National Grid.
“#BrooklynGives on Giving Tuesday is on track to become the most charitable 24 hours in Brooklyn thanks to the incredible generosity of all those who care deeply about Brooklyn’s communities and the nonprofits who make our borough great. This campaign makes it easy to discover and support some of the most effective and inspiring organizations right in our own backyards, while participating in the largest single day of giving in the world, Giving Tuesday.” - Brooklyn Community Foundation President and CEO |
