Rodlyn-mae Banting

Rodlyn-mae Banting joined the Foundation in March 2023. She has previously worked in journalism, nonprofit, and university spaces. Prior to moving to Flatbush she lived in Madison, Wisconsin, where she pursued a master’s degree in Gender & Women’s Studies and taught introductory GWS courses. Rodlyn also spent some time working in Copenhagen, Denmark in the study abroad sector. Wherever she is, she is devoted to advancing racial justice and fostering spaces of support and belonging for marginalized communities. Rodlyn graduated summa cum laude from Loyola University Maryland, where she studied English and Gender & Sexuality Studies. In her free time, Rodlyn loves to write, bake, and has recently taken up lino block carving.
