Alison Gore joined Brooklyn Org in April 2023. She holds a Master’s degree in English and American Literature from New York University. Prior to joining the Foundation, she was the associate editor and grants manager at Restless Books, an independent nonprofit publisher of international literature based in Brooklyn. She currently resides in Bedford–Stuyvesant. Alison never leaves home without a book (or two), and she enjoys going to readings and shows around Brooklyn.
