Grantmaking Advisory Council

Guided by our belief that those who are closest to the challenges are closest to the solutions, we center residents with lived experience and expertise as key decisionmakers in reviewing grant proposals, conducting site visits, and selecting nonprofits for funding. Spark Prize Committee

Each year, the Spark Prize Committee engages in a rigorous application review process, selecting finalists from a highly competitive applicant pool, and conducting interviews before selecting five nonprofits that will each receive the $100,000 “no strings attached” prize.

We deeply value the dedication of our Spark Prize Committee members, whose  time, expertise, and partnership allow us to amplify organizations that are sparking critical change in our communities. We’ll be announcing the next Spark Prize recipients in January 2024 — stay tuned!
