Neighborhood Strength Model in National Spotlight

Earlier this month we announced the latest investments from our resident-led grantmaking model, Neighborhood Strength, along with an interactive website that documents this unique process taking place in Crown Heights.

We’re pleased that our local efforts are getting national attention, helping to demonstrate how foundations can work more closely with their communities in making grants and building leadership. Read Inside Philanthropy’s take on Neighborhood Strength, and learn more about what led us to this unique approach on the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy’s blog
